The essential impact of IT on pedagogical issues

I have been interested in IT for a very long time, first as a student, and now as a teacher. As assistant professor at École Centrale de Nantes, I am trying to develop various projects mixing new technologies with innovative teaching approaches. So I am very proud to be part of this new and exciting educational program organized by the Foreign Language and Business departement and the Computer Science department about webmarketing.

At École Centrale de Nantes, we already have a regular use of blogs (including Twitter as far as I’m concerned!). Our blog has been successful in the various experiments that are led both by students and teachers with Tablet PCs, but it was in French. This new blog about Web strategies and development will be the first experiment in English. I hope there will be many contributors: teachers, students and outside partners. Our partners are welcome to communicate in French and we are proud to produce a bilingual blog.

As a blog about webmarketing would not be a good webmarketing blog if its contributors did not practice the art of communication, I conclude this post by sharing a YouTube video (in french only, sorry) about the innovative experiments Centrale Nantes leads in the field of e-learning.

Thank you, Guillaume, for adding this precious extra-information I forgot to link in my post.
