Names and function : Chris De Marco (Prof at Audencia), Christine Evain (Ass. Prof at ECN) and Patricia Lojkine (Univ of Le Mans)
The objective of this project is to further develop the functionalities and uses of TXM, a textometry platform.

Keywords: Textometry, Information Extraction, business intelligence, co-occurrences, event identification

You will need to:

- improve the existing tool (which is open-source), for example, by creating a program which de-duplicates the complete word list produced by TXM from a given novel or a given text against another list of words (such as “the 500 most frequently used words in the English language”).

- create pedagogical methodologies involving the use of TXM,

- target different groups of teachers and learners and devising a communication strategy to promote both the tool and pedagogical methodologies.
